1. Introduction Dental Orb built the “Dental DICOM Viewer” app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Dental Orb at no cost, with optional Premium features available for purchase. 2. Information Collection and Use For a better experience, while using our Service, the app requires access to your device’s storage.
- Medical Data (DICOM): This app functions as an offline viewer. It accesses DICOM files stored locally on your device solely for the purpose of displaying them to you. We do not upload, store, or transmit your DICOM files or patient data to any external server. All processing (including Premium features like 3D reconstruction and measurements) happens locally on your device.
- Non-Personal Data: We may collect non-personal identification information about the device (such as the model and Android version) to ensure app stability.
3. In-App Purchases (Premium Features) The app offers premium features (Measurement tools, Eraser, Annotation, Panoramic View, 3D View) via In-App Purchases.
- Payment Processing: All financial transactions are processed directly through the Google Play Store. Dental Orb does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card information or billing details.
- Purchase History: We verify your purchase status via Google Play Services to unlock the premium tools.
4. Permissions To function, this app requires the following permissions:
- Storage (Read/Write): Required to open DICOM files and save any annotations or measurements you create.
- Google Play Billing: Required to process purchases for the Premium version.
5. Children’s Privacy These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
